We offer digital books (eBooks), membership access (“Escape Plus”), and external merchandise (“Print & More”), provided through verified third-party partners. Digital products are delivered electronically. All physical products are produced, shipped, and handled by external partners.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed securely through PayPal, Stripe, or other available payment methods. Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion fees or additional charges.
4. Digital Delivery
After successful payment, your digital products or Escape Plus membership access will be delivered by email and/or through your customer account. Please ensure that your contact information is accurate at checkout.
5. Age Requirements & Parental Responsibility
5.1 Age Requirements
Purchases on this Website may only be made by individuals who have reached the legal age of majority applicable in their country of residence.
5.2 Parents & Legal Guardians
Parents and legal guardians may purchase digital products or memberships on behalf of minors and are responsible for supervising the minor’s use of digital content and Escape Plus services.
5.3 False Age Declarations
We may suspend or terminate accounts if we detect fraudulent age declarations or misuse.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
6.1 eBooks (Voluntary Return Policy)
We offer a 14-day voluntary return policy for eBooks, provided the digital file has not been used. “Use” refers exclusively to downloading the file or opening the file.
Once the file has been downloaded or opened, the eBook cannot be returned or refunded.
6.2 Escape Plus Memberships
Escape Plus subscriptions are non-refundable once activated. You may cancel at any time, and access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused membership time.
6.3 Physical Products (Merchandise & Print)
Merchandise (Spreadshop): All production, payment processing, shipping, and returns are handled by Spreadshop according to their own terms. Escape Readz Publishing cannot accept returns or issue refunds for these items.
Print Books (Draft2Digital – D2D): Printed books are purchased via external D2D links. All printing, payment, and shipping are managed by D2D. Escape Readz Publishing is not the seller of these items and does not process returns.
7. Account Responsibility
You agree to keep your login credentials secure and not share Escape Plus access with others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse or unauthorized distribution of content.
8. Intellectual Property
All eBooks, artwork, designs, and digital content remain the intellectual property of Escape Readz Publishing or their respective authors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license for private use only. Unauthorized sharing, redistribution, or resale is strictly prohibited.
9. Download Logging & Security
To verify delivery of digital products and prevent fraud, WooCommerce automatically logs:
- date and time of each download
- the downloaded file
- order ID and associated email
- the IP address used for the download
This information is used solely for verification, anti-piracy measures, and abuse prevention. We may provide such data to law enforcement authorities if legally required or in cases involving fraud or digital piracy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
